Taking Out The Trash

Since the last post was super deep and serious, I've decided to add a little sunshine. Lighten things up a bit.

Chris and I are big tv fans, and I am completely addicted to the Bravo channel. Thank goodness for TiVo or with two kids we would never be able to watch anything other than Doc McStuffins, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Octonauts, Jake in the Neverland Pirates, etc.  Back to Bravo. It is hilariously entertaining. Lots of people call it "trash tv." Chris will come into the room while I am watching one of the shows and give me that "are you serious(ly watching this)?!" look. Hey! Hold up. He isn't innocent in the world of tv. He has his: Breaking Bad - a high school science teacher turned meth drug lord; The Walking Dead - self explanatory; a couple of ridiculously b  o  r  i  n  g History channel shows (one is called Through the Wormhole); The League; Fringe. Therefore, I go with the 'ole "let him who is without their own trash tv addictions sin be the first to cast the first "are you serious(ly watching this)?!" look stone at her." My explanation as to why I would even expose my mind to such things is simple:  it's an escape. If I can get wrapped up in their drama, I don't have to think about any of mine. :)
